Nutrition Training with Elizabeth: Note that I am not calling it "dieting" or even "weight loss". Because with E. that is not what it is about. What I have come to learn after more than a year of interacting with her is that it is about Educating yourself to feed your body right. Before I began with E., I was back from 3 months of one travel after another and a record level of 205 pounds. I had turned into a foodie - almost each meal in one of the myriad cuisines of Silicon Valley. Thanks to her, I am now on top of what I feed myself.
Elizabeth not only works out the meal plan for you according to what works best for you, but also explains to you the science and qualities of having a nutritious diet. Obviously, "what works best for you" doesn't include pizzas. Think of it this way - humans didn't evolve with pizza - they don't need it :)
Personally, the change in my eating habits is this - It isn't about losing weight anymore for me, it is about feeding myself right. There are two very important things to doing that though - (1) understand the meal plan that E works out for you. and (2) mental dedication to follow that. E. has been a great support with the latter part as well. I know... it takes getting used to (I come from a carb heavy Indian diet). But once you are in it, just watch that adipose tissue melt away.
